 Peter Rabbit - Handmade reusable tote shopping bag - Quick make Whatabout ye folks, it's Lee here.  Just popping in with a very quick make today.  Summer in Northern Ireland started off with a scorching bang in the middle of June.  But sadly, as quickly and fierce as the hot sunny weather arrived with us, it quickly disappeared.  And we have had nothing but windy, rainy, gloomy days here ever since. July was the gloomiest and rainiest since records began.  Look at us breaking records for all the wrong reasons, lol.  The old "Norn Iron" tan is fading with the sun. teehee. I tell you though, this gloomy and extremely windy weather does nothing for your mood.  The poor trees around us have no idea what's going on and with the strong winds, are already shedding leaves like it's the Autumn.  But sure, what do I expect really, living in Northern Ireland?  Lol.....we can't do anything right. teehee.  A new Handmade Baby changing bag/Nappy Bag Whatabout ye folks, it's Lee here.  DO NOT ADJUST YOUR SCREENS!  This is not De ja vu....or is it?  Teehee.  I realise I shared a pretty similar bag to this around last Christmas. In fact, it's practically identical other than the size.  But I made another one for my brother, as he asked if he could have a matching Paw Patrol bag that was a bit smaller than the original one.  The previous bag was much bigger because you need to carry so many more items for a baby.  But wee Alfie is a 2 year old now and doesn't need as many items.  So I gladly made my brother another smaller bag.  I gave it to him yesterday and Alfie got very excited for the new bag for all his toys.  He sat with me on the floor and carefully placed his toys inside it.  He then got up, flung one of the handles over his shoulder and walked around the dining room table rejoicing that it was a bag for his toys, lol.  I couldn't have asked for a better review, tee

Handmade Large Tote bag - using Debbie Shore's Tutorial It's my lovely Mother-In-law's Birthday in early September and she'll be heading away for 3 weeks to beautiful, sunny Cyrus. So, I thought a nice tote bag would be perfect as no-one wants to lug their handbag around with them when going down to the pool. The bag itself has plenty of storage for your ipad or a book or 2, in fact the tote has a tonne of useful storage. It's all about the bee's knees - DIY Handmade Large Tote Whatabout ye folks, it's Lee here.  So I made another one of Debbie Shore's large tote bags...well, it has been a wee while since I last made one, lol. I've made so many now that I could probably sew them in my sleep, teehee.  Here's the link to the bag in case you want to have a go...  Debbie's Large Tote Bag . As usual, I made a few modifications which I'll share below.  I think this is the first one I've made where I didn't make many of my wee "Lee mistakes" as my wee Mamma affectionately calls them, lol.  This one is going to my Auntie Fiona, or Fifi as she's affectionately known.  She loves bees and this fabric was a dream to work with.  No issues at all. I wasn't sure which fabric Auntie Fifi would prefer as the main body so my Wee Mamma let me know that the Honey Yellow was the way to go.  The bag has a really good sized zip pocket on the outside. Handmade Paw Patrol Baby Bag/DIY Baby Changing Bag One of my brother's recently asked me if I wouldn't mind making him a changing bag, come "chuck everything a toddler might need" bag.  And of course, I said yes.  His requests consisted of Paw Patrol or something Disney, big enough to carry nappies, cloths, toys, bottles, juice etc., and something he could easily throw over his shoulder to carry as he'd have his hands full most of the time.  So this is what I came up with. As I'm sure you have gathered by now, from my many bags and backpacks I've shared of late (click here , 2 , 3 ,  4 & 5 ), I am a big fan of Debbie Shore's designs and her incredible YouTube channel sharing how to make her designs.  Well, I have adapted her Large Tote Bag to suit the needs of my Brother and his ever growing bambino.   So this bag is just under twice as big as Debbie's original stated size.  The handles are a bit longer and there is also an adjustable should
