Places I love to Shop

Here you will find a list of my favourite places to shop at. This page is constantly being updated and added to, so please do revisit every so often.  Unless otherwise stated, I am not affiliated with any of the craft companies I've mentioned here.  I have also been given permission by each shop to add their Company to this page and use their logos for link-back purposes.  All the recommendations below are my personal favourites and opinions.  I would never recommend a company to a fellow Crafter unless I was 100% happy to do so.  Therefore, if I recommend them its because I truly love shopping with them and I am confident to recommend them.  Unless stated, I am not a Design Team Member or have been sponsored by any of the Companies listed below.....Unless you want me guys?  Anyone?  Lol.  My opinions are therefore my own and in any case, my opinions would never be swayed by perks or freebies.  These are simply, my personal favourites.  Happy shopping my friends.

If you want to grab some beautiful fabrics, haberdashery and interfacing, check out Wendy's Ebay store at staples7460.  She has incredible bargains and the woven interfacing is incredible quality.  I go through woven interfacing like cray so I can highly recommend you buying it from Wendy.

This is my go to Ebay shop for all my faux leather that I use in my bag making.  The quality of the material is fantastic and is great to work with plus the service I receive is second to none.  Direct Home has loads of different faux leathers but also an array of many other fabrics available too.  From cottons to camo and waterproof canvas, they have an array of items to choose from.  As I said, they are my go to for faux leather and I highly recommend you check them out.  Here is a link to my favourite Sky Blue faux leather.

Ok, if you want to get really beautiful quality fabrics at really incredible prices, you have to check out Suzie over at Susakin0 on Ebay.  Particularly if you are after thicker, upholstery and 100% cotton fabrics.  As a fellow crafter and sewer, she knows how to pick quality fabrics and designs that we will all love to work with. I recently bought a lot of fabric from here with the intention of making bags, and the fabric is truly lovely quality and a joy to work with.  Check out Suzie's shop and tell her I sent you.

I LOVE Agnes' beautiful 100% cottons and Fabricco is local to me in Northern Ireland so supporting local businesses is very important to me.  Click on the image above to go to Fabricco's Ebay storefront.  Agnes also has a website, facebook page and instagram page.  If you want beautiful designs and incredibly stunning quality fabrics at very reasonable prices, please check out Agnes and her lovely  store.  You won't be disappointed.

The lovely Lorna, over at Dragonfly Creations is the place to go if you want to buy beautiful Jersey cotton fabrics.  But they don't just sell Jersey fabrics.  I bought the bosal interfacing I love to use from Lorna along with faux leather and cork fabric.  The quality of the cork and faux leather is incredible.  I will definitely be back shopping here again.  Please check their site out and tell them I sent you.
Check out Christie's Craft Shop on Ebay.  Brett has a fantastic shop for pretty much everything crafty sewing related and he is so incredibly competitively priced too with free shipping.  I purchased my Kai scissors from here and if you were ever told that you could only have one pair of scissors for your whole life, these Kai scissors would be my ride or die.  They are amazing.  I also bought quite a lot of different webbings from Brett which are perfect for all my bag making needs.  Fantastic quality and very reasonably priced.  Check out Brett's shop, you won't be disappointed.
If you want to get your hands on some lovely quilting fabrics or in need of any type of interfacing, definitely have a look at Carol Johnstone's ebay store.  Or, if you want to skip Ebay, Carol said if you email her directly, she can give a discount as she won't be paying the Ebay fees.  So, take a look at her store and if you want anything, give her a shout on the following email, and she'll be able to sort you out.  carole@ferndale41.plus.com
This shop belongs to the lovely Miranda from Delgirl2 on Ebay as well as her physical shop, Ido-Vintage in Somerset.  Check out her instagram too.  Boy does she have the cutest looking wee shop ever that's filled with the most beautiful vintage items.  I am very lucky to have purchased so beautiful vintage fabrics from her Ebay store.  But if I lived in Somerset rather than Northern Ireland, I know I'd spend so much time in her actual physical shop.  Everything in there looks so lovely.  Miranda is always adding new items to her Ebay store, so go over and check it out.  And if you do buy anything, tell her Crafty Loops sent you.

Another fantastic Ebayer is Vicky, from Victoria_luv2qlt.  She has the most gorgeous cotton fabrics, including pretty much anything you'd ever need for quilting.  Vicky also has a YouTube channel so please go over and show a fellow crafter some love and tell her I sent you.  Vicky has so many beautiful fabrics, from pre-cuts and kits to really hard to find themed fabrics that I have thoroughly enjoyed using, like this Super Mario fabric that I used to make my brother his laptop bag.
Check out Barry's Ebay store, The Cheap Shop, Tiptree.  This is another incredible shop with beautiful fabrics, felt, lace, wadding....everything you'd ever need or want for your sewing and crafting projects.  I wanted to find a unique "Gamer" style fabric for making a laptop bag and found this fantastic fabric on Barry's ebay shop.  Such great quality and Barry gets your orders out super quickly too.
Fiddlesticks Fabrics is based in Ballymena here in Northern Ireland, but they ship anywhere in the UK and Ireland.  They have their website here plus they also have a store front on Ebay here.  Their fabrics are beautiful and their customer service is second to none.  I highly recommend Fiddlesticks Fabrics.  Shout out to Karen!
Stampingallday stamps
Do you want to design your very own stamp for your blog or shop?  Well, Nicky is the girl for you.  I have used Nicky's stamps for years and am never disappointed by the design, quality and her incredible customer service.  If you don't find what you are after, shoot Nicky a wee message and she is more than happy to work with you and get the kind of stamp you are after.  A fantastic shop and lovely lady to work with.  I cannot recommend her and her shop highly enough.  If you do buy a stamp from Nicky, let her know I sent you.  She'll be delighted to make a stamp for you.

I love this shop and it offers free delivery to anywhere in Mainland UK, no matter the size of your order.  Just so you know, I'm in Northern Ireland and my orders have always been free delivery too.  Any time I need something and I can't find it on the website, I send Susan a wee email.  And EVERY TIME I've made enquiries about a certain item, Susan has been able to get it for me.  And my orders have always arrived in super speedy time, in most instances the next day.  But obviously this will all depend on when you order and where you live.  I cannot recommend this company highly enough.  I'm a very big fan.  Click on the image or link above to go straight to Country View Crafts website.  If you visit Countryview Crafts, be sure to tell her that Crafty Loops sent you.

I bought my new Janome sewing machine at the start of 2017 and this company, Sewing Machines Direct and in particular, Russell who is the Company Director, went out of his way to accommodate me.  It is an incredible company with impeccable service and I look forward to dealing with them in the future.  I cannot recommend this company highly enough.  If you need a sewing machine, definitely get over to Sewing Machines Direct.
Bear Basics is a fabulous little online shop that is quite literally a one stop shop to purchase everything you will ever need for bear and toy making.  From cotter joints and fabrics to tools and toys eyes, Susan has everything you will every require to make your own toys.  Click on the image of Bear Basics to go straight to their website.

  1. Thank you so much for putting together this page. I live in Israel and can't get a lot of scrapbooking things - and I only want a few basic ones. I will check out these shops, but clearly, I need things shipped - bless you! I'll try to keep you updated on how things go... :-)
