Handmade Quilt - Shadow Boxing from Jordan Fabrics

Handmade Quilt - Shadow Boxing from Jordan Fabrics Whatabout ye Folks, it's Lee here.  Firstly, Happy New Year for tomorrow.  Let's hope 2023 is a little kinder to us all.  Secondly, apologies for the photos.  This quilt was extremely difficult to photograph.  The simple reason is, I have a super tiny house.  So to be able to get the whole quilt in the frame, meant having to move WAYYYY back......and I just didn't have the room to do this in my teeny house.  I was practically sitting on the cooker for this 1st photo and my poor Scrubby was standing there with his arms up, holding this quilt and trying not to move whilst I took rapid fire photos, lol.  And the one I took on the bed....well, I would have needed to be outside my bedroom window to get it all in properly.  So, sorry.....I did the best I could in my tiny house, lol. This quilt is called Shadow Boxing and is a free pattern from Jordan Fabrics on YouTube .  I am over the moo...

More handmade Bunnies & Bears....Oh My! PayITForward free pattern

More handmade Bunnies & Bears....Oh My!  PayITForward free pattern  What about ye folks, it's Lee here. Welcome back. I know, I know! I shared these types of cutie patooties in my last post, but as I gave those away as gifts to my nieces and nephew, I just had to make some more. If you want to know all about them, where I got the pattern etc., please click  HERE   to see all the information in my previous post. I made a few wee modifications to these ones compared to my first ones, like fabric sleeves on the bunnies but, everything else was pretty much the same as my first ones. I made their outfits using beautiful fat quarter fabrics from Disney for all of them except, the wee bear with the brown polka dots. They are beautiful fabrics, really great quality, thick cotton fabric which was a dream to sew.  I don't know how I manage to make them all look different, as I'm using the same bunny and Teddy Bear pattern, but each time I make them, they look so diffe...

Handmade Bunnies & A Teddy Bear - payItForward free pattern

Handmade Bunnies & A Teddy Bear - payItForward free pattern What about ye folks, it's Lee here and welcome back to my blog. Firstly, let me wish you all a very Happy New Year.  Let's hope 2021 is a kinder year for us all, and we stay safe and healthy.  I want to share with you some wee cutie patooties that I made as Christmas gifts for 2 of my nieces and wee nephew. The girls are both 4 years old and the wee boy is only 6 months old. These are not my own designs but I do want to tell you about where I got the patterns because I think the creator is incredibly talented and generous. I happened to be watching Micheline from Michoumakes and she was sharing some cute little makes that she had sewn up, when she kindly gave a shout out to the actual designer. Before I go on, on a personal note, it is incredibly important to me and all us creative types that we give credit where credit is due. Now I know nowadays it's hard to come up with an original idea. However, if you are...

Face Masks with Filters

Face Masks with Filters Hello Folks.  Long time no see......for everyone, I suppose.  These are strange times we are living in and I hope everyone is staying safe and well. I thought, as everyone and their garden gnome are making masks, I thought I would share 2 designs that I have made. These are not my designs, and I will share the links to the original posts. I decided to go with 2 styles, as I wanted to ensure that everyone in my family got at least 2 that would fit them perfectly and safely.  I did change some of the features in both these masks but I will explain what I changed and why I did, below. Firstly, was the Olsen mask that was recommended by a Hospital in the USA.  It comes with a detailed video together with the link to the pattern.  Now, this pattern is a lot more involved in that it isn't just a rectangle of pleated fabric.  You have to cut out 6 pieces of fabric to make one mask.  But its a great design and a really great tu...
