More Handmade Large Tote Bags - Disney's Dumbo & Sloths

More Handmade Large Tote Bags - Disney's Dumbo & Sloths I think I'm turning into a walking advertisement for Debbie Shore, teehee......I'm not Sponsored or anything, honestly.  But her YouTube tutorials and designs are just incredible.  And for a newbie sewist, like myself, I am so confident in making her designs.  Now, confidence does not mean that I am any good at making these things....but I certainly have the confidence to give them a go.  And my poor family are my guinea pigs where they receive these items....whether they wanted them or not, lol.  I will add a shopping list at the bottom of this post in case you'd like to buy the items I've used.  I might not be able to find all the links, but I will do my best.  Leave a comment or contact me in the contact box at the top right hand side of this blog, if you have any questions. So I made a couple more of Debbie's Large Tote Bags .  I originally made my first one using Disney's Dumbo fat ...

Handmade Large Tote Bag - Debbie Shore free pattern

Handmade Large Tote Bag - Debbie Shore free pattern What about ye folks, it's Lee here.  Ok, so it's not a backpack....but it is another Debbie Shore bag, teehee.  This one is her large tote bag that she shared the tutorial for on YouTube.  By the way, do you know I have a YouTube Channel ?  I haven't uploaded much on it lately but I am in the process of remedying that.  My camcorder died on me and I had to buy a new one...ugh!  But hopefully I'll be back to sharing video tutorials very soon. Anyway, back to this tote bag.  I used a Disney's Dumbo fat quarter bundle and it has the most adorable images on it.  My wee Mamma loves Dumbo, and the colour combination of yellow and grey together, so this will be going to her.  I will share a shopping list for as many of the products I used that I can remember where I bought them, lol. This bag has 2 zips....and might I add, these are my first ever zips I've put into anything.  And I actually ...

Face Masks with Filters

Face Masks with Filters Hello Folks.  Long time no see......for everyone, I suppose.  These are strange times we are living in and I hope everyone is staying safe and well. I thought, as everyone and their garden gnome are making masks, I thought I would share 2 designs that I have made. These are not my designs, and I will share the links to the original posts. I decided to go with 2 styles, as I wanted to ensure that everyone in my family got at least 2 that would fit them perfectly and safely.  I did change some of the features in both these masks but I will explain what I changed and why I did, below. Firstly, was the Olsen mask that was recommended by a Hospital in the USA.  It comes with a detailed video together with the link to the pattern.  Now, this pattern is a lot more involved in that it isn't just a rectangle of pleated fabric.  You have to cut out 6 pieces of fabric to make one mask.  But its a great design and a really great tu...

Ruby Slippers Video Tutorial

Ruby Slippers Video Tutorial It's an oldie but a goodie.  You know those days when you are randomly going through your laptop, looking at old videos and photos and then you come across a half edited video from 3 years ago that you forgot to post?  No?  Is that just me?  Well, that is what happened here.  I forgot to post the tutorial on how I made these Ruby Slippers shoes.....almost 3 years ago.  So without further ado.....and waffling much more, because it could end up being another year before this is posted.....here is the video of how I created a pair of ruby slippers for my wee Skin and Blister (that's good ole Cockney rhyme for Sister). And as always, that is it from me today Folks.  Hope to see you around my Blog neighbourhood soon.  Any questions, please leave in the comment section below and I will do my best to help you. Toodles Noodles.......Loops (Lee) xx Would you like to buy me a Coffee ?  It's all done through...

Lions and Tigers and Bears....Oh My! Dorothy Gale Halloween Outfit

Lions and Tigers and Bears....Oh My!  Dorothy Gale Halloween Outfit Hello my Pretties (Get it??  "My Pretty".....from the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz??).  Long time no see.  I'm such a disaster pants!  Really and truly.  I haven't made anything this year!  Except of course the million and one things I made for my Brother's Wedding....which I have still to show you!  But on the bright side, I got published in a Wedding  Magazine....Yippee!!!!!  Well, my Brother and his lovely new Wife were in the magazine but my blog got a mention as I made everything for their big day.  So I'm very chuffed to see my wee blog in glossy print.  I promise I will have photo's of some of the things I made, but because I had so much to make, I forgot to take photos of a lot of the things I made.  So I'm in the process of trying to gather photos from friends and family who wisely did take photos!  I'm such a numpty!  You'd never ...

Spooky Ghoul Halloween Earrings

Spooky Ghoul Halloween Earrings Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!  These earrings are perfect for Halloween.  Look at them....they are the Spice Girls of the Underworld all ready for their big debut on Halloween night.  OMG did I just say Spice Girls?  I'm showing my age, lol. Ok I know they won't be to everyone's taste, but I love these earrings. And how amazing would these look on you at a Halloween Party when you are all dressed up to the ghoulish nines?  I love them, I think they are brilliant.  But of course I am biased, because I made the little blighters, lol. The skulls are actually dyed polished Turquoise stones.    I added glass seed beads to look like the spine and leg bones and added little crowns made with a sparkly crystal rondelle and a bead cap.  I made their little skirts from 2 different kinds of bead caps. These purple ones are the same as the above earrings only with purple dyed polished turquoise. Look at those wee fa...
