Final Handmade Large Bunny Rabbit from In the Hoop Online

Final Handmade Large Bunny Rabbit from In the Hoop Online Whatabout ye folks, it's Lee here.  And as promised, I am back with the final little cutie patootie Bunny that I made following a pattern from Adele at  In the Hoop Online .  My blog has been nothing but bunnies and bags lately, teehee.  Anyway, I won't keep you as you've seen 3 of these bunnies already.  Bunny  #1  and #2&3 . I did the same faux leather pads on the bunny feet but did the top stitching in white thread so it would pop a wee bit more.  Now, I am very aware that my sewing skills are by no means professional at all, so my top stitching isn't the greatest.  But it certainly confirms the handmade aspect of these bunnies, that's for sure, teehee.  I did add the buttons again to both the arms and legs for added security which I really like.  I did it differently this time though, which I feel worked better.  Instead of waiting until the whole bunny is completely made up to add the buttons, I adde

Handmade Large Bunny Rabbits from In the Hoop Online

Handmade Large Bunny Rabbits from In the Hoop Online Whatabout ye folks, it's Lee here.  I shared another bunny last time from a pattern I bought.... this  Bunny pattern  from  In the Hoop Online .  This is such a lovely pattern from Adele and it comes together so easily too.  Adele also has a fantastic step by step  video tutorial  on her  YouTube channel .  I said that I had another 3 bunnies to make and these are 2 that I made for my 2 nephews.  I do have 1 more bunny to finish but I ran out of stuffing.  So, I'm waiting for that to come in and I will share that wee bunny then. I adore their big bunny feet.  They are so cute.  I hope this wee dude doesn't look too sinister with his big red face, lol. .....I'm hoping his big blue eyes makes him a little less terrifying, although I'm not sure they'll work....I probably should have picked a different fabric for this wee guys face but he's made now, teehee.  Hopefully he doesn't make my nephew cry...eek!

Handmade Large Bunny Rabbit from In the Hoop Online

Handmade Large Bunny Rabbit from In the Hoop Online Whatabout ye folks, it's Lee here.  And look.....she can make more than just handbags and wallets, teehee.  Isn't this big bunny the cutest thing ever.  I bought this Bunny pattern from In the Hoop Online .  This is such a lovely pattern from Adele and it comes together so easily too.  Adele also has a fantastic step by step video tutorial on her YouTube channel .  So you can sew along with your pattern or follow along with the video, which is definitely my preferred method.  I noticed that Adele has loads of other toy patterns too.....so me thinks I may be having a little shopping spree happening soon, lol. I'm sure you've noticed from past toy projects, that I tend to make my toys in batches of three, for my nephew and 2 nieces.  Well, a new wee nephew arrived in October, so my toys will now be made in batches of 4.  I made this first bunny as my tester as I wanted to see just how much stuffing this bunny would ta

3 little sloths, hanging in a tree - PayItForward Sloth pattern

3 little sloths, hanging in a tree - PayItForward Sloth pattern Whatabout ye folks, it's Lee here.  I know I shared a Sloth last month, showcasing a pattern from Lisa over on PayItForward YouTube channel.  But the wee sloth was so incredible easy to make, that once I had made my wee Bro's girlfriend, Rose, the first sloth, I just had to make 3 more, teehee.  Again, my 2 wee nieces and nephew will have another stuffed toy to add to their ever expanding collection of handmade toys from me. I won't make this a long post as I shared the details already on my previous post .  But I have shared the shopping list of the items I bought to make these wee dudes.  These aren't affiliate links or anything....not that there is anything wrong with affiliate links, lol.  These are just the places I like to buy my products. I just love how these wee guys turned out.  And because I used polar fleece, they are so incredibly soft and squishy.  A perfect companion to any wee ones bed. Ins

Handmade Sloth from a Payitforward Design

Handmade Sloth from a Payitforward Design What about ye folks, it's Lee here.  I know I have been quiet lately, but I'm here today to show you a super cute and cuddly sloth that I made, using Lisa Pay's design from her Payitforward YouTube channel.   Again, this is one of Lisa's free patterns and as always, her tutorial for this Sloth is second to none.  Anyone can make one of these little dudes and he's so soft and cuddly as he's made with polar fleece.  As always, I will list my shopping list below for everything I used to make this wee guy. Now, this little dude might be hanging out on his own in these photos, but he won't be alone for long as he has a new home already.  He's going to live with my wee brother's girlfriend, Rose, who absolutely loves Sloths.  I made her my Large Sloth tote bag as a Christmas gift last year.  The poor girl is going to be coming down with Sloth items, teehee. He was so incredibly easy to make and I'd say he was

Handmade Snuggle Sheep - PayItForward design

Handmade Snuggle Sheep - PayItForward design Whatabout ye folks, it's Lee here.  Look how cute these wee guys are.....and don't they just look like a little sheep boy band?  Lol.  Instead of Boys to Men, may I introduce you to the new Boy Band group in town......Lambs to Rams!  Haha!  I don't know why, but this had me giggling for a good 5 minutes straight, teehee.   This is another PayItForward design from Lisa Pay.  This is one of her most recent free patterns, the Snuggle Sheep .  I must say, I have thoroughly enjoyed making these wee dudes.  They remind me of Sean the Sheep, lol.  I really enjoy using the Sherpa fabric, even with it being a bit messy to cut, it really is a fabulous fabric to work with and very forgiving too....mistakes can be well hidden, lol.  I will make a shopping list below so you can grab the items I used in this make, if you want them, of course.  They aren't sponsored or affiliate links.  It's just where I buy my supplies. I love how thei

DIY Handmade Snuggle Bear - PayItForward Free pattern

Whatabout ye folks, it's Lee here.  I've been really enjoying making Lisa Pay 's fantastic free patterns for bears and toy making.  Her instructional videos on YouTube are truly second to none.  If someone as novice as me can make a bear, anyone can, lol.  Now, I'm not perfect at it, but I certainly give it a go, teehee.  I'm sharing a little Snuggle Bear I made using Lisa's free pattern.  Check out her video for all the details on how to make it.  If you want to buy any of the items I used to make this bear, see my shopping list below.  I'm not sponsored by any of these companies, it's just the places that I bought my supplies from and have had great service from. Ok, first off......I made a BIG MISTAKE and we are just going to notice it, giggle and move on, teehee.  I did all this work and ended up at the last hurdle messing up the eye placement....I know, I know....FACEPALM.  But I promise, the next one will be better.  I have bought eye placement

Handmade Artist Teddy Bears - PayItForward FreePattern

Handmade Artist Teddy Bears - PayItForward FreePattern What about ye folks, it's Lee here.  So, here I am to show you these 3 wee cuties.  I know they are all the same...well, they all look slightly different in their faces as they are handmade, lol.  Again, this is a free pattern from Lisa Pay from PayItForward on YouTube.  I did a few adaptions in that I made clothes for these wee bears as apposed to the cute wee poncho that Lisa made.  Please go over and have a look at Lisa's YouTube channel .  Her patterns are so delightful and her tutorials are second to none. Of course, as usual, I will put my shopping list below for as many of the items I used that I can remember, lol. These bears were a little different from the others I've tried from Lisa.  These artistic bears definitely felt like a more professional make, if that makes sense, lol. But they were actually incredibly easy to put together. These bears have cotter joints and articulating limbs.  So their little arms
