Stickpins, Flowers and Ghouls.....Oh My!!

Stickpins, Flowers and Ghouls
My Country Kitchen Collection of Flowers - Circles cut using Sizzix Circle Die

Felt Rolled Roses using Sizzix 3D Flower Die

Stickpins Galore!

Yes, I have more flowers to show.........as always but also some stickpins.  Now again this is heavy on the photos but its for my own records.  Im not gonna waffle ("Say What Girlfriend?".....said with an over exaggerated America accent!) as there are quite a few photos and I want to get through them all.  I know, I know......Loops not waffling......Tis a strange day indeed.

Admittedly some of the stickpins will NOT be to everyone's taste.  Those who follow my blog will know I dabble in a bit of Steampunk too (see altered guitar in a previous post) and some of the stickpins are a little Steampunkish/Gothic...ey style so Im very much aware that there are some who will not even give them the time of day.......BUT, I love'em.

So here we go........heres what Ive been up to....

Aw look.....theyre talking to each other!  These are my Ghoul Stickpins

"Hey....are you lookin' at me?"
"Do you think my bum looks big in this?"
I used some small seed beads to make it look like the vertebra on the spine.

Here are my Steampunk Stickpins.  Made using skulls made from what I think is a type of polished stones.   Awww look, they are all wearing wee dresses....arent they cute? Heehee

There we are.....some pretty stickpins

I think these are a polished stone or gem too.  Diamonte Stick pinks with pink and purple beads

Pretty Blue Stickpins, I love the beadcaps with the Diamonte heads

More individual designs - not a set as such, just random makes

Sadly the light hasnt shown how pretty the bead on the first stickpin is. But look, its wearing a pretty little crown!!  Little Winged Angel Stickpins.

I love these teeny wee butterflies

Large cracked glass bead was used for the last stickpin here with a crystal rondelle on top of it with a pearl head and bead cap.

Now these are long stickpins or is it tall??  I love these beautifully elegant bead caps,  if they can even be called bead caps. They are more like bead shrouds!

Triple Pearl Beaded Stickpin approx 3 3/4 inch from top to tip -  they are long!

Nice view of the gorgeous beadcap

More pretty stickpins - not as long as the last ones

This one is quite steampunkish too with the wings and metal bead

Gorgeous crystal rondelle with a big acrylic clear bead with a metal butterfly bead and pretty spacers

Beautiful glass heart bead with metal spacers and pearl beads

Large glass bead, blue with white swirls, triple beads and metal spacers

Some of the flowers from my Country Kitchen Collection

One of my Fluffy Goodness Flowers with extra Fluffiness!  Also my pearl bling centres

These Fluffy Goodness Large Floating Meringues have extra Fluffiness compared to the last ones.  There is much more dimension to them.  White Satin and Lace.

The Country Kitchen Collection has lovely dimension to them too but not quite as high as the Fluffy Goodness flowers.  These are meant to be more delicate.

This is one of the large Pink and White Country Kitchen Collection Flowers.  I have them in Small, Medium and Large (not all shown)

Here is a Country Kitchen Collection Flower with the Pearl Bling Centre

I have used a pretty pink button with some Jute threaded through the button holes.  I think it is in keeping with the Country Kitchen feel.

These are the Small Felt Rolled Roses in red and pink

These are made from cutting felt using the Sizzix 3D Die with my Cuttlebug

You can see the large red rose size and shape in comparison to the smaller pink roses.  I used a glass pearl bead in the centre of the large rolled rose.

I hope you like all these even if some of the stickpins are a little scary looking!!  They'd look amazing on the cover of a Halloween Mini Album or a Halloween card or even if you had photos of the kids dressed up for Halloween and you wanted to alter a frame to put them in, the Ghoul Stickpins would look incredible on a frame.

Anyway, I hope you like the stickpins along with my Country Kitchen Collection Flowers and Rolled Roses.  They are all very fun to make and surprisingly relaxing to make too.......other than the odd shout and scream when I burn myself with my glue gun.......but that is soon to be rectified.....watch this space......Ohhhh whatever could she mean??  You'll find out soon....hopefully!

  7. Your stickpin are amazing, even the ghoulish ones, lol, different, but def steampunk, love it!!! Do you use plain pins and then just add , we don;t get pins that long here to use as such, they all have a bead of some sort on top. The long, really long, lol, beadcap they actually use when they do jewellery with a few strands of string/ect , then tie it with one strand remaining and that is put through the hole, hides the knot(knots that are glued)...........:))
Another batch of utterly delicious looking flowers, wow, girl you are talented, love them!!
